Summary:

Steelwoods principals assisted Dassault Systemes in the design and development of their US Headquarters, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dassault Systemes is the world leader in Product Lifecycle Management solutions.

We met with both Dassault Corporate Executives and local employees to learn their vision and future needs. It was determined that a phased solution would best satisfy their current requirements and projected growth.

Phase One consisted of masterplanning 2- 90,000 square foot office buildings and their associated site amenities and parking. Phase Two, we performed the architectural and interior design services which included coordination of architectural and engineering drawings for the shell building, upfit and site work. We administered the building construction phase through ongoing budget review and contractor oversight. 

Outcome:

Since relocating to this new building, the company has met its growth projections. The interior space that was originally left for expansion is now fully occupied. The company has commented that it will, in the future, look to construct the planned second building.
